TIL NORD

Discover a sublime open world on your snowmobile! Drive among the frozen environment of Snøfall øyer to discover beautiful vistas, time trials and quests that permanently change the open world in Til Nord; a free snowmobile driving game for PC.

Roles+Achievements:

  • Producer/solo team lead: Led a team of 16+ developers, and external experts from nothing to a succesful game launch and incredible team cohesion in 6 months using scrum methodology, Jira, and servant leadership.
  • Succesfully reached out to influencers, Youtubers and Reddit communities, with the game recieving over 310,000 downloads.
  • Prioritised the game's features that would be important to the vehicle game community, such as time trials with online leaderboards and photo mode.
  • Over 600 reviews, 84% positive rating on Steam.

IN OUR NATURE

In Our Nature is a first-person narrative photography game set in 1960s Bavaria, following the journey of Emma, a young woman facing a quarter-life crisis. The game blends time travel with a character-driven story, where players use a Future Camera, whose viewfinder reveals and shapes the future to help Emma navigate her life choices and aspirations. She uses the Future Camera to try and solve the destruction of Germany’s first-ever national park, escape a burning house and deal with the grief of losing her father.

Roles+Achievements:

  • Lead narrative designer: Outlined the overall time-bending story for the proposed full game. Wrote dialogues and implemented them in Unreal using Articy Draft. Prototyped the full story in the game's horizontal slice.
  • Combined Sartrian philosophy and European Feminist history from Master's Degree With creative writing and game design.
  • Grant Candidate: Successfully applied for and received a €10.000 Stimuleringsfonds Starting Grant and a near €40.000 Digital Culture grant.
  • Tech Designer: Added systems to the game such as a personality type system and a calender system to increase player interactivity.

KIN VR (Internship)

KIN is a puzzle platformer game with combat elements that will have the player traverse the remnants of an ancient civilization on a distant planet. Throughout your journey through alien landscapes, a story will unfold. KIN also supports virtual reality.

roles+achievements:

  • Programming Intern: worked with Unity, C#, Oculus Tools
  • Programmed: the non-threatening NPCs that populate world and make it feel more alive.
  • Worked: on the non-VR port of the game.
  • QA tested the game near release to make sure the experience was without game-breaking bugs.

CROWD KING

As the king journeys through the land, he discovered that the queen has been kidnapped by the Banana Slug Army, and the Crowds themselves have been scattered all over the land trying to find her! The king decides to take action and rescue his minions and the Crowd Queen personally!
